After graduation I worked as an architect in Kiev for ten years. When "perestroika" began, I changed my career becoming a computer graphic designer to survive. In 2000 my family and I moved to New Zealand, settling in Wellington, where I continued with graphic design but also started painting again. I have participated in various group and solo exhibitions in Wellington, becoming a member of Watercolour NZ, WAG and the Academy of Fine Arts. Since 2005 I have been painting full-time.
