MATRYOSHKA
Along with 2D work, I returned to painting Matryoshka (Russian nesting dolls made of wood) that I learned to paint at a course of decorating painting in Kiev.
Through numerous commissions and experimentation I have now developed unique and distinctive "Personalised Matryoshka" - famlies painted on the basis of photos. Through this I have found where I can apply my caricature skills and love of portraiture.
My nesting dolls are held in private collections throughout New Zealand, Australia, Great Britain and the USA.
